Terry's Hotdogs was started as a project to help those in need and at the same time insure everyone had a GREAT TIME. I had a friend who was in need of medical assistance and her company used every legal means to explain why they could not help her or even let us raise funds to assist. Well to make a long story short, it bothered me so much that I ended up quiting work, started teaching part-time at St Louis Christian College and started "Terry's Hotdogs" to try and make a difference. So now I am here to help you and your organizations. My only charge is for the cost of food and supplies, and a few dollars to cover overhead and transportation. This is all done not-for-profit, and at cost. I do all your planning, shopping, service, cleanup at cost and give you a FIRM proposal for your review. I usually have "extras" on board so we don't run short and if I have left overs from other events I don't mind contributing to help make your event a total success!
If you have a church picnic, Wednesday youth gathering, a VBS group up to 800, we can and have handled it. I have even done birthday parties for Ministers, Elders meetings or even that special group of people you want to thank.
To help cover overhead I have also organized a parties for those that wanted to do something at work for some deserving individuals or group. I have even "entertained" the nursing staff at a small nursing home when a doctor wanted to do something unique for the staff. My Hotdog wagon is licensed and state health inspected and is one of only a few that has a class "A" restaurant rating. I have completed the "Safe Food Handling" training and have the required immunizations. Take a look at my menu and email me or call me during the summer for outside activities or for organizing your inside dinner and lunches all year round.
To add to the excitement and fun for these events I use your people to "handout" the food. Many of the organizers, Elders or Ministers get a real kick out of this. And there is something special about getting GREAT food from your leaders from a Hotdog wagon, as apposed to a cold pan with little or no heat. All hotdogs are of the highest quality, usually all precooked 100% beef and they are served HOT and FAST. Also, using your "kids" or leaders keeps the costs down and the focus on the event and those that sponsored it. I merely facilitate and support their efforts. to insure success.
If your organization chooses to sell the items, you can print and sell the food tickets and handle all the moneys. This is also true if people pay at the window. I let your people collect and handle all the money. You then pay me for the supplies we used and any incidental expenses.
For inside events the process is accentually the same. Usually the organization sells tickets and when people go through the line, they just turn them in and we serve them. Because of the organization and line methods I use everything flows quickly and smoothly.
